Mr Cressey is CEO of Armour Energy Limited and brings 27 years of oil and gas project development experience to the company. Before joining Armour, Roger held a number of executive responsibilities for the design and delivery of oil and gas infrastructure projects, including major gas pipelines, gas processing plants and refinery upgrades – for companies such as Chevron, Exxon, Santos, Origin and others; across Australia, in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.
Roger joined Armour in 2011 as General Manager – Infrastructure Development, and was subsequently appointed as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Since joining Armour Roger has been heavily involved with Armour’s exploration activities in north Queensland and the Northern Territory.
More recently, following Armour’s acquisition from Origin of the Kincora Gas Project, Roger has managed the restart of that project; and as CEO of Armour, Roger has led Armour through the transition from a pure exploration company to an Exploration and Production company where Armour is now a successful producer of oil, gas and LPG, supplying into the East Coast domestic energy market.
