Marco Arosti has over 20 years of investment experience in Europe and Asia combined. Marco is the Managing Director of Phoenician Group, a merchant bank headquartered in Hong Kong. The firm makes direct equity investments in One Belt One Road countries and offers investment management and investment banking advisory services to family offices, high-net-worth individuals, tier-one institutions and mid-cap corporations in Asia and Europe.
Prior to joining Phoenician Group, he held senior-level positions at Daiwa Securities and Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong, advising a wide range of clients on corporate finance, capital markets transactions and private equity investments.
He started his investment banking career at JP Morgan in London, where he advised leading investment groups on major acquisitions in the clean energy, mining and technology sectors.
Marco is a Chartered Accountant in England and Wales. He earned his MSc in Economics and Business Administration (Cum Laude) from Ancona University in Italy. He also holds an MBA from London Business School in the United Kingdom and completed a Mandarin Chinese Foreign Language Degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
