John Forwood has more than 25 years experience in the Australian and international resources industry. John Forwood worked as an exploration geologist in Australia, Tanzania and Indonesia, including the drill out of the 3.8 million ounce North Mara gold deposit. John Forwood spent 17 years with Rand Merchant Bank’s resource finance division, arranging and providing debt and equity finance for junior mining companies globally.
John Forwood was a manager of the Telluride Investment Fund, a junior resources equity fund which returned more than 25% pa during 2002-2015. John Forwood is a founder and director of private company Rodinia Resources Pty Ltd, which is focused on red mud ‘waste to value’ projects in Jamaica and the southern USA. He is a qualified solicitor and was admitted to practice by the Victorian Supreme Court. John Forwood is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (AusIMM) and the Society of Exploration Geologists (SEG). He is currently Investment Manager at the Lowell Resources Fund.
